This words interact in the world of friendship and dating.
My friend used these words interchangeably ,bff and bf .
She could not have a clear cut difference between the two.
The reason why she was single at her late 20s.
Take a look ,your dating Mutua and beside Mutua you have Mutuku,your best friend forever(bff), going forward you have Kamau your bff and there is Otieno your MCM.
You want to create time for Mutua,then Kamau calls ;in the midst of confusion Mutuku wants to take you out.
Yes ,in the same confusion your MCM wants to spend time with you ..
Today ,you choose Otieno and you go out with him ,in the evening you go and visit Mutua and your innocence kills you ,you are there narrating him how you had good time with Otieno.
Poor Mutua!remember Mutua saw your profile picture last Monday and there goes Otieno (MCM).
Next week Mutua takes you out,in the middle of the conversation in that pizza Inn,Kamau calls ,you talk with him 15 minutes. After you are through with your call, you turn to Mutua your boyfriend,"I am sorry that was a my bff ,Kamau."
The conversation continues ,shortly before every thing is over another 20 minutes call ,from who ?"Mutuku my bff!"
Conclusion, I am dating a girl ..Mutua leaves!
Who remains ,bff and MCM ,will they marry you ..

Any relationship needs some form of security. The security is only available when there is maximum trust.The day you chose to date him ,he changed status and became your bff,bf or MCM.
